M8 is a personal assistant, called Mate, that you talk to by text message. It is a private beta offered free to invited users. By signing up you agree to these terms.
01 The messaging program
When you enter your phone number at heym8.xyz you agree to receive conversational text messages from M8, including replies to your messages and occasional check-ins from Mate. Message frequency varies with how much you use it. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, and you will receive one final message confirming it. Reply HELP for help, or email us. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
02 What Mate is, and is not
Mate is an AI. It can be wrong, and it can misremember. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety decisions, and never use it in an emergency. Call your local emergency number instead.
03 Your part
You must be 18 or older. Sign up only with a phone number that is yours. Do not use M8 to break the law, harass anyone, or try to disrupt the service.
04 Beta
M8 is provided as is, without warranties, and may change, pause, or end at any time. To the extent the law allows, M8 is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it.
